The next morning we get up in our rooms as usual, but one thing is different: today is the day we leave Dodoma for Arusha and the Ngoro Ngoro National Park.

We have breakfast together - then we all drive to the bus stop of the large coach, where we almost get on the wrong bus, but then finally find the right one in the rain, load our luggage and take our seats. The journey is very relaxed (even if the horn is fundamentally different to the ones we are used to XD), as most of us sleep for a while, but there is also a lot of chatting. In addition, music videos and even a film are shown on a screen at the front of the bus.

After a few hours, we finally arrive in the village and are picked up by two drivers in lorries, who first drive us to a restaurant where we eat together. The roof is made of sheet metal and through the material we can hear the rain coming down in torrents a little later. After the meal, we drive on and finally reach a very bumpy dirt road that leads to the coffee farm.

On the way, several very young students wave to us, apparently on their way home, and we can already recognise many coffee plants. Eventually we arrive at the farm, which is in the middle of the plantation. We put our things down there and are shown around a bit.

We see the places where the plants are dried and processed and finally recognise an elephant among the trees on a hill on the other side.

Finally, we go back to the house and eat dinner together and then play another round of our general favourite game - UNO - with our exchange partners.

PS: *For those interested: The film is called "Hidden Strike" (2023) and is an action and comedy film starring John Cena and Jacky Chan. Very chaotic and recommended.
